Meet Ms. Kelley

Hello third graders and parents!

My name is Victoria Kelley. I am very excited to be apart of White Oak Intermediate! I have wanted to become a teacher for quite some time, and finally the day has come. I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with my bachelors degree. This will be my first year teaching, and I could not have asked to be a part of a better school district. I was blessed to do my clinical teaching in fourth grade earlier this year at White Oak where I fell in love with the school, the staff, and the students.

I fell in love with math recently. My mentor teacher showed me the joys of it and made it fun for even me to teach, and I cannot wait to pass that love on to you. If you don’t quite like it, I understand. I was not a fan of math while I was in school, but my hope is that by the end of the year, you love or at least like it!

You will also be learning about science with me! We will be able to do lots of experiments and research. You’ll be switching to the fabulous Mrs. Bussey’s room where she will teach you ELA (reading, writing, and spelling) and Social Studies.

I absolutely love my fur baby. Her name is Daisy Mae, and yes, that is her in the picture. Daisy Mae does not know she’s a dog. She’s half Chihuahua and Papillon so her bread is called a Chion. She loves her toys and can pick them out by name, which is something I’m proud of.

My favorite things to do are travel and be with friends. I am extremely blessed to have amazing people in my life that continually encourage me to follow my dreams. My favorite place to go is Disney World. I have been three times, and I am already planning a fourth trip next year! Speaking of favorites here are some of my favorite things that might become useful later on!
